Didsbury · Manchester
A forty-cover bistro on Burton Road. Menus that change with the seasons, a short list of good wine, and a Sunday roast worth crossing the city for.
We keep things simple: a small room, a short menu, and ingredients from farms and coastlines we can name. Everything is made here, from the bread at noon to the last spoonful of custard at night.
Opening Hours
Sunday roast served from noon until it’s gone.
Kind Words
“The pork belly is the best thing I’ve eaten in Manchester this year. Small room, big cooking.”
“Quietly one of the best neighbourhood restaurants in the city. The Sunday roast alone is worth the tram ride.”
“Booked for our anniversary and they couldn’t have looked after us better. The treacle tart is dangerous.”
